As we start a new year, many contemplate what they want to change—and they do this in the form of resolutions. However, as we know, many resolutions quickly fade away. As you consider any resolutions you may have, it might be helpful to think about how you usually manage change. Ponder this—or start jotting down thoughts in your journal—as having a better idea of how you deal with change may help you set better resolutions for the new year. Knowing what you enjoy or manage well when it comes to change will help you emphasize these parts in your resolution, while at the same time avoiding or being more intentional in the areas that may be more of a challenge for you.
