A new year means resolutions for change. However, change does not come free. For us to meet our resolution, we must change, which may come at the cost of momentary discomfort, taking time to visit the gym, skipping that morning coffee shop stop. Whatever it may be, the cost may or may not be financial, but to achieve the change we want, we too must change our habits. Journal or think about what you will have to change to achieve your current goal(s). What does that change look like? How do you feel about that change now? How will you feel about it when your mood has changed (positively or negatively)?
